The entire structure of this Xiaomi smartwatch is made of zirconium polycarbonate, a resistant material but at the same time it allows this smartband to be very light, we are talking about only 32 grams, in fact it is essentially the lightest smartwatch in circulation.

The screen automatically turns off the backlighting after 30 seconds (options that can be modified from the app) but continues to show the watch face with reduced brightness, so it will always be possible to read the time on the clock thanks to the always-active display.

Software and operation

Directly from your wrist you can scroll through the notifications, read and delete them, reject a call, check the weather forecast, start a training session, use the alarm clock, timer and compass, change some basic settings and activate the do not disturb mode. From the activity side it is possible to start a training session with a choice of running, biking, treadmill, walk. The integrated GPS and GLONASS module allows you to track and store time, speed, pace, step length, heart rate zone, elevation, calories burned and more based on the selected sport mode, and in combination with the three-axis accelerometer and to the heart rate monitor allow you to better monitor your physical activity. What makes the difference in the design and the aesthetic aspect of the device are the watch faces, or the possibility to customize the dial that appears on the screen with different graphics.

Battery and autonomy

Thanks to the low consumption and the 190mAh battery, the Amazfit Bip guarantees an autonomy of over 30 days with a single charge. The charging is done through the special base supplied, just place the Bip on it and connect the USB cable to a power source.
